A BTS, Halsey, Lauv and Steve Aoki fan? Then you are in for a grand treat. Ending the year with a bang is the Big Hit Labels concert featuring one too many artists to count. The South-Korean entertainment biggie is all set to stream some holiday and new year spirit to its audience on December 31st.

The Big Hit teased its' fans earlier with a list of special performers who will be a part of the concert. Now they have revealed the final line up, leaving the fans in splits. Fans cannot contain their excitement as the banner on Dec. 8^th announced that Halsey, Lauv and Steve Aoki along with BTS will also perform at the NYE Live concert.

The umbrella entertainment which roofs the biggest Korean musical groups, has them all performing for their fans. The Big Hit concert will also feature GFRIEND TXT, NU’EST, BUMZU, ENHYPEN and Lee Hyun among others. With SEVENTEEN having to cater to prior commitments, they have backed out of the concert leaving a few fans disappointed.

The Artists Pay Tribute...

Well, the concert isn't just to entertain BTS' fans on New Year's Eve but also for a special person. The event will be power-packed and honorary. The late singer-songwriter Shin Hae Chul will be honoured with the help of AI and holograms.

"We prepared a tribute stage to remember the late Shin Hae-Chul, who rejected stereotyped thinking and didn’t hesitate to take challenges, in order to console everyone who was having a difficult and lethargic 2020. We have been preparing this for a long time in order to complete an unforgettable performance that connects time, space, and generation with music.", Big Hit shared in a statement.

BTS and more will perform hits like 'To You' and 'What Do You Really Want?' in tribute. The Big Hit Labels’ New Year’s Live concert will air on the 31^st of December at 9:30 pm KST/6 pm IST.

Steve Aoki is releasing “Love You More” with Lay Zhang and Will.I.Am tonight! In the disheartening times of a pandemic these three icons are making sure everyone gets that self love right.The track boasts the towering voice of Lay Zhang,a member of "EXO" the k-pop group. He spits out verses while Will.I.Am joins him with his rap sequence making it all the more funky!!

The track is set to be released at midnight and well we guess that Steve Aoki is truly a night owl! Fans have been excitedly showering social media with praises and appreciation for such an innovative collaboration.

Steve is one of the pioneering artists to include K pop members in his track after Halesy and Dua Lipa, both of whom are being lauded for creating an inclusive space for the music industry to thrive. Including musicians from other genres would also allow for a better cultural assimilation which is very much the need of the hour in our increasingly Xenophobic world. We hope music can truly bring people together !

Will.I.Am said that it was an East meets West collab that the world needs right now! When asked about the track , Zhang was grateful about the project and hoped that his fellow artist would get more opportunities like this. He also said “Will.I.Am has a dope style and Steve’s got an amazing energy”

“Collaborating with Lay and Will was a dream come true,” says Aoki. “I’ve wanted to work with both of them for a while, so having them on one track together brought so much value to the creative process. Lay with his unmistakable vocals and Will with his hard ad-libs took this song to the next level and merged all of our worlds in the process.” Kudos to Steve Aoki for making self quarantine more bearable!
