Adam F. Goldberg is executive producer of the documentary 'Searching for Stars Hollow,' which is being produced by Ink on Paper Studios and directed by Meghna Balakumar and Kevin Konrad Hanna. Daft Punk is releasing a special deluxe edition of
their debut album, 'Homework,' to commemorate its 25th anniversary. New remixes
will be included in the special version, nine of which were previously
unavailable on streaming platforms. There's a DJ Sneak, Todd Terry, and Kenlou
remix of 'Around The World,' as well as remixes of 'Revolution 909,' 'Burnin,'
and 'Teachers.'

The electro-pop pioneers are also offering a one-time
only livestream of a gig from 1997 in which the duo can be seen sans their
iconic helmets. At 14:22 pm PT (22:22 BST) , both the deluxe edition of
'Homework' and the livestream will be available.

Daft Punk announced their split on this day last year,
ending a 28-year career. The Parisian team, who are widely regarded as one of
the most influential electronic groups of all time, announced the news in an
eight-minute video titled "Epilogue," which included footage from
their 2006 sci-fi film Electroma.

The duo — Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo — are seen travelling through the desert in their signature space-age helmets and leather jackets. In the video, one of the pair abruptly stops strolling and urges the other to start the self-destruct sequence on their suit before walking away and exploding. A choral rendition of the group's 2013 song 'Touch' is then played while a card reveals de Homem-Christo and Bangalter's robot hands in their respective attire, along with the dates '1993-2021.'

Kavinsky, who earned his live-touring stripes
supporting Daft Punk, told NME recently that he was startled when the news of
their breakup arrived last year.

“When I heard the announcement, I was really
surprised,” he said. “I feel forever really grateful to both of them because
they taught me so much. They showed me the way for many things.

“I can understand that after recording together for more than 30 years, they needed a break. They needed to change things and I can really respect that choice. I think it will be really beneficial to them, no matter what happens in the future.”
